History in the Church

A 12th century building at the historic heart of a village

A village church, with much early fabric which largely escaped the period of Victorian restorations. The fabric and written records give an insight to both the ecclesiastical and civil devlopment of the parish since medieval times. These records include the most complete set of Church Wardens accounts in the diocese of Bath and Wells.
