Our Village

The painting above by local artist Ron Tilson is part of a larger painting on display in the Village Hall. Many of the old buildings shown are constructed from the local mellow stone from the nearby iron age fort on Ham Hill. The village was recorded in the Domesday Book but our history goes back to Roman times and beyond.
